How to Use the First Check™ Home Drug Test
Step 1:Take the Test
When you are ready to test, remove the Test Lid from the sealed
foil pouch. Remove plastic wrapper from the Collection Cup. Fill
the Cup with urine to at least the minimum fill level line as
indicated on the side of the cup.
Step 2: Activate the Test
- Twist the Test Lid securely on to the Collection
Cup.
- Ensure the lid is fastened tightly.
- Once secure, activate the test by tipping the
Collection Cup on its side, resting the Legs on a flat
surface.
- The First Check logo should be facing up as
shown.
Step 3: Read Your Results
You can read your results after 5 minutes, but do not wait
longer than 10 minutes.
- A red or pink colored line will appear next to
the word Control to indicate the test has worked
correctly.
- The result will appear next to the word Drug
after 5 minutes.
- A red or pink colored line will indicate a
NEGATIVE Result for that drug, regardless of how dark or light the
lines may appear. No further testing is required.
- NO red or pink colored line will indicate a
PRELIMINARY POSITIVE Result. (INSERT IMAGES)
How to Use a First Check™ Home Drug Test (Panel)
Step 1: Collect a Sample
When you are ready to test, collect a urine sample in your own
clean disposable cup.
Step 2: Take the Test
Remove the First Check Test and the Dropper from the foil pouch.
Place on a flat dry surface.
- Using the Dropper, drop 3 large drops of urine
(without pausing between drops) into the Sample Well.
- Hold the Dropper upright and high enough above
the Sample Well to be able to count the drops.
- Do not touch the First Check Test for 5 minutes
while results are developing.
Step 3: Read your Results
Results should appear in 5 minutes,but do not read your results
after 10 minutes.
- A line should appear next to the letter C this
will ensure the test has worked properly.
- The result will appear in the drug abbreviation
(THC and/or COC) within 5 minutes.
Negative
A red or pink colored line next to the C (Control Line) AND a
red or pink colored line next to the drug abbreviation (THC and/or
COC) indicates a Negative Result for that drug, regardless of how
dark or light the lines may appear. No further testing is
required.
Preliminary Positive
A red or pink colored line next to the C (Control Line) and NO
line next to the drug abbreviation (THC and/or COC) indicates a
Preliminary Positive Result for that drug.
